The CUA60615 Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media is an ecliptic course covering every aspect of Film Making, 2D and 3D, for feature films, corporate videos, television commercials (TVC’s) and web series. Learn script writing, producing, directing, cinematography, editing, creating and pitching concepts, set lighting, creating special effects in 2D and 3D, pre-production, post-production, project funding, budgeting, marketing and sales.
This gives students the opportunity to focus their potential to the role that suits them best. While at the same time students learn to appreciate all facets of the filmmaking process, gaining a deeper understanding of how everyone works together on a project.
TPAC is Australia’s first film school to incorporate 3D, having already produced two 3D short films—Protocol (2012) and Lotus 8 (2014). We also have the distinctive opportunity to teach film students how to direct by utilising in-house Actors from our 10672NAT Advanced Diploma of Screen and Stage Acting, an element not found in other film courses.
We are committed to equipping our students with the skills they need to succeed in the film industry.
Thanks to the level of comfort the instructors and my peers provided me with, I now have a level of confidence in myself I never had before.
Eligible students are able to apply for a VET Student Loan

A great benefit for students is the opportunity to work directly with graduate Actors from our 10672NAT Advanced Diploma of Screen and Stage Acting course. Moreover, Career Planning units empower students to confidently enter the work place, covering aspects of Film Making for feature films, corporate videos, television commercials (TVC’s) and web series.
